The LI380 from RIA sure looks a lot like a Bersa .380.
Ok thats what I though it's compactness.More people are going around heeled and they want smaller guns to carry.
I tested these out of a P3AT into water bottles. The first was at 7 yards and the BB hard cast bullets penetrated to the 4th bottle. I kept them in mine until the Underwood Extreme Defense bullet was invented. The +p cleared four water jugs so now I carry those in my LCP II.I picked up some of the Buffalo Bore 380+P 100 gr hard cast to keep in my PPK/s
They claim 1150fps from a 3" barrel and ME 294 ft lbs.

Absolutely. The gel tests that have been done show that it gives a much larger wound cavity and due to their shape, they feed really well. The LCP isn't rated for +p, and that Buffalo Bore sounds very hot. I see Underwood has both +p and standard .380.
I'm currently pocket carrying my old first generation LCP every day at work (non-permissive) loaded with Critical Defense. (I carry my S&W M&P 9c everywhere else, except Johns Hopkins.) Would you recommend the standard pressure Underwood in my LCP?
I'd tell you that it will be fine, but...I never thought I'd own a relative peashooter like a .380, but I put in paperwork on an LCP Max. I'm not a caliber purist, but I'm a .45 ACP guy. This is a change for me...
Dear God!? In a thread that speaks of the historical significance of the classic 380 acp in the forms of Walther, Mauser, FN, Savage, Remington it seems a low point indeed to mention the S&W 380 EZ, yet lower still to insinuate it could ever be a “BBQ gun”… maybe a nice gun show cordura and Velcro holster and wear it down to the microwave to nuke a burrito at 1:30 AM? That would be class appropriate…I had a Llama, it was great, but the new S&W Performance Center .380 EZ is a sweet little bbq pistola.

I have one and they aren't anything to really get excited about in the normal context. It does check the box for a very concealable carry option for quick trips out or when deep concealment is necessary, though.I honestly don't think I've ever been less excited about a new firearm. Still, it's a new firearm, so there's excitement. But it's muted, much like its caliber.
To atone, there will be plenty of .45 ACP burned up alongside the break-in rounds on the .380 ACP. At least both were designed by JMB.
I have a regular 1911-380. It is a very lightly built gun. I would not fire high pressure ammo in it.Got curious enough to start poking around anyone have or shot the Browning 1911-380 Black Label Medallion Pro Compact?
Stick with it. It took me a more than a few range sessions to get dialed in with it. That tiny sight radius doesn't help. I got much better after a few sessions just flash sighting with it. It was my 1st 380 after much heavier cartridges (which I still carry the majority of the time). The Max is my summer pocket gun.The LCP Max saw its first range trip and I have to say I wasn't particularly thrilled with it. A mere 50 rounds of ammo were lit off without malfunction, but my trigger finger was sore after the second mag and I didn't want to open a second box of ammo after I finished the first.
Worse, it and/or me were quite inaccurate with it. I am hardly an accomplished shot, but I don't have trouble keeping rounds on paper. Not quite so true with this little piece. It very well could have been mostly me, but if that's the case not only have my fundamentals gone to shiit, but I didn't have the wherewithal to recognize anything that I was doing wrong. I probably pulled/jerked 5-6 rounds, but it was shooting mostly low at eight yards and had more than a few fliers. To the extent I could find any "comfort" using a pistol defensively, I would not be comfortable engaging with it much beyond contact distance.
It and/or me need some work.
