I love the feel on the Beretta 92 series of handguns. For me, they just “fit” right. The first handgun I ever bought was an Italian made 92F. Ironically I just sold that one, as I wasn’t using it anymore, since I eventually upgraded to the Beretta M9A1 in order to get a rail-mounted weapons...
Like probably everyone else here, I've always been taught that front sight focus is the way to go. And that's what I've done for decades. This competitive shooter disagrees, and states his rationale. I'm curious what everyone else things about his logic:
Success! I got the the trigger guard screw back into the female side, after trying over the last few days for the umpteenth time. Once I got the threads to bite just a little bit, naturally at that point the outcome was certain.
The only thing I can think that was different was that I was...
Status so far:
Of the items I have on hand, alcohol didn't work, acetone didn't work, WD 40 didn't work, and my brass wire brush mostly didn't work. Well the brush did take off maybe about 10% of the loctite after 30 minutes of hand scrubbing, but by then I was starting to wear the blueing off...
I have a bolt that helps to hold my trigger control group in on a lever action rifle. I took it out and noticed that the manufacturer put in blue Loctite on the threads. Now I can't get it back together. I think it is the old blue Loctite that is causing the problem.

She shot several different handguns at a range this week. 9mm doesn’t make her flinch. Of those she was able to try (including my SIG 365X) her biggest challenge remains racking...
So my wife has finally decided to get her first (and most likely ever) handgun. I’ve told her that she can have anything she wants as long as it’s 9mm.
For myself, I know what feels good in my hands, and know how to select a handgun. FYI I like the full sized Berettas and SIGs for home defense...
Although as a matter of principle I don’t like the county telling me I can’t access convenient plastic bags (that as others have stated are put to many good uses at home including by me) I’d probably just shrug it off as inevitable nanny statisms, if that was all the recent law did. But my...
Some observations:
* Paragraph (D)(1) exempts full/service restaurants, limited-service restaurants, fast food restaurants, etc. But according to my wife’s Nextdoor app, one person reported that they were charged a dime for a bag at an AACO Burger King at a drive through window. Clearly not all...
I went to an AACO Walmart today and as expected all of the plastic bags were gone. You could buy paper bags for a dime each. The thing that got me was that they had the gall to post this sign:
