The only 1911 pattern I'd buy any more is the S&W 1911. Because of the external extractor. I read an article by Ted Yost about 1911's, and even he recommended a 1911 with an external extractor instead of the internal, if you weren't a gunsmith, and didn't have one on retainer. His opinion was... -

ZT's are great knives. Both their old and newer stuff. I have the 0770, but in aluminum, not carbon fiber. It is a nice little knife. Blade came razor sharp, and it has a STRONG opening spring. Lock-up is great as well. The Elmax steel that it uses works great, IMO. Probably in my top 5...- dogboy
