      Forum Issues

I'm having an issue with the navigation bar links, like the Home > Forum > General > Comments and Suggestions headers of this thread. It seems only the very bottom pixel of the label can be clicked on and its more difficult that usual, I haven't seen any other links affected by this.

List of FFL's doing SN engraving

The MD number does not meet the ATF requirements. So if you are not in MD and want to sell the gun then the MD number means nothing and it will have to be given an ATF compliant number. On a ploymer80 you simply don't have the room to do this, AR lowers its probably not an issue since you have...

List of FFL's doing SN engraving

If Maryland accepts the ATF number then that is the one to get since if you ever move out of this terrible state you will still be able to sell the gun. If you have the Maryland compliant number and move out of state then your only option is to destroy it, I don't believe serial numbers can be...

SB387 "Public Safety - Untraceable Firearms" - The Ban on Private Firearm Making

From the ATF document: "The current regulations and this rule already require that identification marks be placed in a manner not susceptible of being readily obliterated, altered, or removed." So the serial numbers on a commercially produced gun, engraved as they are now, meet the definition...

SB387 "Public Safety - Untraceable Firearms" - The Ban on Private Firearm Making

Cant really do that with a poly 80 glock lower, you only have a tiny area and one shot to get it right.

SB387 "Public Safety - Untraceable Firearms" - The Ban on Private Firearm Making

The whole engraving before registering bit isn't going to work. Guess if you get a lower engraved and the number ends up already taken then it has to be destroyed?

SB387 "Public Safety - Untraceable Firearms" - The Ban on Private Firearm Making

I was under the impression that even possession of "anything marketed as being able to be made into a receiver" was banned after some grace period, I think October 2023. That's how I understood it from watching the senate sessions.

SB387 "Public Safety - Untraceable Firearms" - The Ban on Private Firearm Making

Would this require someone have an HQL to get their gun back?

SB387 "Public Safety - Untraceable Firearms" - The Ban on Private Firearm Making

So it sounds like they dropped the FFL number for the serial number but now we have to register them with the MSP? Edit: If the number has to be unique and engraved before registering with the MSP how do you know what a unique number is without a list of all numbers already used?

Baltimore Will No Longer Prosecute ‘Low Level Crimes’ Like Prostitution, Trespassing,

Would you rather rent that Ferrari for a couple hours and have your fun or own it and have to deal with the maintenance costs? :D

Baltimore Will No Longer Prosecute ‘Low Level Crimes’ Like Prostitution, Trespassing,

Ask any woman about legalized prostitution and they have an almost visceral reaction, they don't want to lose their one bargaining chip.

      Machine shop in laurel/jessup area

I'm working on a project and I need some tools that I just don't have, mainly a lathe that can handle 3" diameter steel rods. The steel rods are 8 3/4" long and I need to turn them into 2" tall pucks with a 7/8 hole in the center. I also have an alternator pulley that needs to be turned down a...

      FNS 9

I have one, felt better to me than the S&W, Springfield, and Glock I handled. Went through 200 rounds of Remington/WWB FMJ I had, and then the ammo prices exploded and I haven't shot my reserves haha. It's my first handgun so I don't really have anything to compare it to but I love it.
