Sometimes it is better to weigh the financial impacts.... How much will it cost you to transfer to an 8 day release FFL vs. How much will it cost you to sue the Independent Socialist Republic of Maryland and it's anti-gun cronies?
I would think that "discretion" is the better part of valor...
Well, its a few months since I praised John for his great work on my Trophy Match 45 and my Beretta 70S. Since that time, I sent the Beretta to my Brother (he loves it!), and purchased a S&W Version Walther PPK/S stainless model .380. I had problems with the factory trigger pull for both...
Yep, Spoken like a true attorney. My first clue was when you started with "There are so many that need to feed".... (you could have stopped that sentence right there and most everyone would have understood).
Perhaps, you might consider that there are too many? The airwaves of America are...
I'm sitting here, reading this and wondering why you think you are more important than anyone else just because you own firearms? I own firearms too, and I AM a designated collector, but it took me about 40 days to acquire my status here in Maryland. I did this in anticipation of the barrage...

Welcome to the People's Communist Republic of Maryland.
Yes, and I am sure it was true - Back in the day. However, a trooper cannot use that same process to procure a regulated firearm that cannot be for use on duty, as back up, or as an approved off-duty carry weapon.
However, an interesting point. If the trooper has a signed authorization letter...
