      UPDATE: Copper Fouling

      I do not use copper cleaning products. I do from time to time give the barrel a slather of hoppes #9 and let it sit overnight. You'd be surprised what it will do, takes longer, milder on the barrel, but it works. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

      I would say probably, yes. Two ways to find out. See if an FFL will sell you one, or ask MSP for an official determination. But as you say the name may hurt things since Avtomat Kalishnakov is on the list too, whatever that is. Even though an identical rifle from some other company is fine.

      Yeah that's a possibility but never been determined. I think the statue defines a licensee as a holder of a federal firearms license, which a c&r is.

      MSP will have to modify the online 77R to no longer require it, just like they did with the W&C permit. I suspect it will still be there and become voluntary that way they can switch it right back on if things change in the future. Simple business rule change to the web form flow.

      If you change the configuration, then it has to comply with 922r. I don't think detachable magazines count. You can change it from the imported configuration, but then the USA made parts count has to comply with 922r. IANAL
