That sounds correct. I thought they were in the Landover area, but website says College Park.
They used to post on MDS a lot and purchased collections of class 3 and posted here. I don’t know for sure, but that’s what I heard years ago when the sale was made.
LOVED the place and purchased many C&R items from them over the years. They also had the greatest WW2 class 3 collection I’d ever seen. I think he sold that part off to the Uniform/gunshop company in PG (name escapes me).
Phil was always good to me and pulled stuff from the back to show/sell...
Thanks! Both are only 14” I.S., but the mass showed they were mature. 14”-16” is about all I see around here in the day. Trail cameras catch some NICE ones in the middle of the night.
One of these days… :D
Agreed. I already have the pressure washer out, so I just put a lower pressure...
This.
I’ve been doing Euro only for the last six to seven years. It’s best if you cut off as much skin/meat/eyes/brains/lower jaw as soon as possible. Preferably, same day as kill. It makes it SO much easier when ever you finally get around to working on the skull - even if it’s weeks...
The grip is standard Shadow Systems - abrasive.
I have the same wear pattern on several of my t-shirts (even worse) from my Shadow pistol, and all of my holsters are Tenicor. I’m thinking grip related issue and you’ll just have to buy new shirts (and get more from your employer ;)).
Very nice! I definitely have some large coyotes on trail cam in the Davidsonville area. I hope to get some time to get out and try to “meet” a few of the locals ;)
I know almost nothing of Nagant pistols, but I believe the original front sights were half-moon. Maybe the later years changed shape?
Gunboards has an 1895 Nagant section. The main historian (Joe Leiper) passed several years ago and I’m not sure who the go-to is these days.
My contribution for this year’s thread - The Christmas buck. Backstraps, tenderloins, and some skirt meat from rib area.
Basket rack ten point. Caught him heading to bed. Must’ve been out partying late with the full moon ;)
I literally went to the video, saw it was SEVENTEEN minutes long, and clicked out. I can skin a family meal’s amount of squirrels in half the time :D
First couple of squirrels of each season may take two minutes, but by the third…easily less than a minute. I found a video that mostly shows...
Dave-
Are you saying someone switched barreled actions and added a stock disc?
Who did you sell it to?
I’d definitely let Matt know via Gunboards DM and see what he thinks! I don’t see a credit on photograph in your picture of new book.
Got it. I think the first 500 were getting prints? I don’t remember. If you don’t have print number one (and I sincerely hope Matt took the first twenty for himself), it’s just a cool picture :D
Having the book can save you LOTS of money! Just ask the guy who paid $4300 for a fake Finn...
Not trying to answer for Matt (but I’ll try), he’s said the pre-orders are all signed. Also, the link to purchase is in the first post. Got my book and I love it , thus far!!
I decided to buy a second thermal scope as my handheld scanner. That way, if primary scope goes down, I can send it back to manufacturer and still have a scope to continue hunting with until I get it returned.
