It’s a laser range finder built into a thermal monocular. That thermal range finder seems super legit. I didn't know that such a thing even existed?
Yes, this is why people like the iRay RH25, which literally does it all, except for the magnified thermal (ex: Hogster) and thermal overlay (ex: COTI) use cases. Is anyone considering a clip on Thermal like the Accufire Incendis? You can install this in front of your regular scope, use it standalone, or use it as a monocular?
I decided to buy a second thermal scope as my handheld scanner. That way, if primary scope goes down, I can send it back to manufacturer and still have a scope to continue hunting with until I get it returned.I ended up going with this. Rangefinder, too. Good for pigs and tyrants. $2100 on eBay.

That’s tempting. Good for picking up people at 100m, I’d bet.If you're looking to dip just a part of a toe into the thermal pool this is 80% off right now. I may get one just to see if it's usable at like 50 yards.

Here’s a pretty good summary of the different types, history, and pros & cons:
I read the reviews and bought one. Cheap handheld thermal (even with the meh resolution and 9hz refresh), and I may screw around with it weapon-mounted to a 22 as well.If you're looking to dip just a part of a toe into the thermal pool this is 80% off right now. Did you ever get a good recipe for tyrants?I ended up going with this. Rangefinder, too. Good for pigs and tyrants. $2100 on eBay.

I figure you could cook up tyrants just like pigs, but with lower expectations…and more BBQ sauce.D

Roger that. Don’t forget the internal temp…165I figure you could cook up tyrants just like pigs, but with lower expectations…and more BBQ sauce.
I’d trash the cheeks. Probably tough from all the flapping. Plus the marinades of bullchit and lies you mentioned.Roger that. Don’t forget the internal temp…165
I wonder if the cheeks are good. Maybe just to be avoided since they’ve only been full of bullchit and lies
