Wondering if they qualify for heavy barrel designation.
The barrel has to be stamped, or marketed as a heavy profile barrel.
I'll take "0"....any idea how many have been busted or jailed for not having "heavy" barrels on their AR's? one would had to have been very, very, very, very bad for some state or fed LEO to pull your gun apart looking for any sort of hbar designation.
Yep. Look at this HBAR.It’s not a look or a measurement. It’s simply an imaginary idea that is only a reality if it’s stamped or advertised as such.
It’s the barrel equivalent of trans gender. It may not look like a heavy barrel but it feels like one thus it’s legitYep. Look at this HBAR.

Doesn't matter. With Rock Rivers, needs to have the word heavy in the barrel description.Do these not look like heavy barrels https://www.rockriverarms.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_ID=262
They do list a 20-inch as a heavy barrel but no 16 inchers and the profile looks the same
