Took my dad to the range yesterday after work. He was anxious to give the Bul a go. He agrees it’s a fine gun. He was gushing over the trigger and his shooting looked good, too! The trigger, though nowhere near bad out of the box, has been improving further with use. Roughly 500 rounds down the tube with zero issues. It is time for a clean though. Some of
My slide lock reloads, the slide is a little sluggish getting back into battery. It does it, just a slight bit slower. Strip it nekkid and give it a clean.

We shot up all the 124gr I had with me and moved to some Powder Coated 115 I had in my range ammo box. Lmao they felt like a pop gun in the Bul.

Pop reckons he wants a 5” of the same.

It's sad that the Argentine Sistema pistols are no longer the bargain they once were. Colt in everything but name, made to Colt specs on Colt-provided machinery, they've doubled in price over the last decade.

    Probably Trump's fault.
If you had one of those, you probably got a Ballerina Mollester too. Even though they were not actual 1911 actions, they were pretty cheap back in the day.

I should have, but didn't, alas.

Is this Bul model only available at Bul's own website? Can't find it anywhere.

Be sure to check your site as well. There is another site or two that involves the word “gun” or so in the URL. The Real Bul Armory site and be found here…

    Ordering here -

My gun shipped very quick. I think I ordered on a Friday and had it in hand on Tuesday (I live in SC, though, so closer to distributor).

Only thing I have done to change the pistol is I just ordered a fiber front for it. I have it temporarily shimmed to shoot and zero this Wednesday. The new front sight is a smidge to small and I’m going to post a thread on how to rectify that situation after I get my zero and am ready to lock it down tight.

    Howdy all.

Had the pleasure of shooting a 9mm Government frame and was blown away at how little the gun moved. So naturally my mind wanders to things that can be worn on my frame and the Commander fits the bill perfectly.

I’m looking to settle on something in the $800-$1,000 range. FWIW, the 1911 I fired was the Springfield Ronin, and I was impressed, though know it can be made better over time. That aside, help me spend money. Should I pursue a build path?

2011 isn’t in the price range, yes I know capacity..ten round slim mags? Carry two on the body easy if ya had to with one in the gun.

Howdy Bill! Thanks for chiming in. This got Necro’d slightly! I had found my pistol 6 months ago or so.
