    Ok.....someone has just got to explain to me....what is it with these ferrets in MD? My neighbor has 2 for their kids. Having grown up in NYC....NOT a fan.......another rodent relative that shouldn't be in my house....just my opinion....

    They are not rodents. They are in the weasel family. Ferrets we’re the second animal man domesticated after the dog. They were used for hunting rats, rabbits etc for food. Ferrets are kept as pets world wide and are very entertaining.
