I would advise looking at something such as the Benchmade Pen, which can double as a close-range impact weapon. Possibly one of the Cold Steel polymer darts. Most blades well suited to self defense are going to probably not be allowed in. The Spyderco Tasman Salt can make a good defensive weapon, but even that is prolly not going to fly.
