My wife and I went to Florida this weekend to enjoy the new free state. It's nice to be able to go from Maryland to Florida with no issues. We have our Maryland and Utah permits. Covers us all the way now.

North Carolina honors all state permits

Gary gets all the credit for handgun law. I just help him out on occasion
When I visit family, that is still in NC, I can take a route that keeps my holster on the belt the whole way.
Going down in August for our son's wedding.

No matter what it’s called, if you don’t live in the state who issued your permit, it’s a non resident permit.

Some states do not honor non resident permits

    CO
    MI
    ME
    SC
    PA
    NH
ND permitless carry for all 8-1-23

A big exception is WI. They honor VA NR permits but not resident permits because VSP only runs NICS checks for NR permits. They also only honor NR permits from FL. VSP use their own internal database for resident permit checks
