    There's an even better one , but I ain't telling , because I don't want y'all competing with me .
You're right. The Colt Officers Model Special 4th Issue (22lr at top, 38 at bottom) is maybe the best. Both date to 1950. I showed you mine, now show me yours. LOL.

I think all my pics are on the dead computer, but I really like the Ruger SP101 in .22. It's the same frame as the .357, which is great to train with. It's their smaller frame, but is able to accommodate bigger hands as well.
For Plinking I would second the Ruger SP101 in .22, nice looking gun (even if the wife put these purple inserts in it...) and shoots nicely all day long. It's really the wifes wheel gun. The Taurus in the pic is the .45/410 I beat up on backpacking/canoe/bikepacking trips that I don't cry over from being abused.

    That is pretty sweet.

    What range is that?

It's mostly all I shoot steel with these days:

I wonder if the wife would give it a try with her SR22
As long as she has enough mags, it should be great. Five is preferable. If she's got 2 or 3, and you can be Johnny-on-the-spot reloading while she's shooting, we can make it work.

From the "coulda shoulda" file....Colt Diamondback.

300 bucks was a whole lot of money to me in the late 70's. Should have done it. I regret that one. Gotta part with a kidney for that revolver today.
I bought one a few years ago. It’s very upsetting to me that it’s unfired, and I can’t shoot it.

    Might give you a yell
Great! I'll post the practiscore link in the other thread when registration opens (it's either 1 or 2 weeks before). I may be a little biased, but other regulars to the match tend to agree that this is one of the best events to get new (or new to competition) shooters started. If it helps with moral support, there are usually a handful of lady shooters there.

Your better half shoot every match?
