Due to some changes this year, they don’t have the group of dealers in the entrance/display area like they have in the past.

However, South Carroll Sporting Goods is there instead of the main show hall. Make sure you stop by there before going into the main showroom.

Thank you. I will have to check out the map and see what the layout looks like. Haven’t been there in so long.

Anyone know the best place to park? From the map it seems like the park and ride and then walk across? I have a bad back, Achilles and a 9 year old that hates walking, lol.

I've done that, the gates should be open.

Buy you have to walk to the far side of the building to get your tickets

SCSG sold my Shooter grade Maynard Carbine for me before I arrived at about 1:30.
Walked the show with wife and #1 Son.
He picked up a WWII German Iron Cross 2nd class, Wife purchased some antique jewelry from a frequented husband/wife
I picked up a Stevens 22 Pump, Rolling Block Carbine in 50-70 and Civil War Maynard Carbine

Went looking for a "mostly matching" early to Mid-war K98k. I looked at about 8. None fit the bill for what I was looking for.

A friend that went with me must have handled every Garand and M1 Carbine at the show.
There was a rack of CMP "Expert Grade" for $1280.....I don't think the ink was dry on the CMP tag yet (still available from CMP for $1000)
A couple average Service Grades for $2000-$2500. Nothing special about them - Post war re-arsenals.
A couple M1C & Ds with scopes - $4700-$6000. I have no idea if the scopes were "correct".
Carbines ran the gambit from run-of-the-mill Inlands to what was advertised as a "correct" early war Winchester. Prices $1600-$6000.
    1903 and 1903A3 from $1150 - $2000
Looked at a nice Tula SKS - but not $1250 nice

It was fun, saw a lot of stuff and enjoyed the morning.
I only wish more folks would discover the benefits of regular bathing and deodorant.

I saw that Stevens! Please let us know if it functions okay.

Someone else had a vernier sight for it.

Picked up a Savage 1919 NRA myself

I'll let you know, was a bit of a puzzle to open the action but we did once we learned the trick. Bore was good. I was able to negotiate a much lower $. Helped to have my wife with me at this show, She is my good luck charm to talk sellers down pretty good. I hope everyone that goes knows that a lot of these prices have room to negotiate. In the number of years I have gone, I have never paid the tag price on a gun at this show. Worse thing that can happen is they say no.

Great show today. Was able to pick up a nice Type 99. Faint mum but was a bring back with the bayonet. Pretty good show. Wanted more but I swear there was a dealer there buying everything I wanted to look at right before I got to it, lol.

Fell in live multiple times today! Primarily with several Pennsylvania/Kentucky rifles.

    Nothing followed me home.

Prices seemed reasonable with multiple exceptions. Some dealers came to sell and some came to show off their collections.

Ya especially the $3500 SVT-40 and the $4,800 PU mosin. High as giraffe ***** if you ask me. However I did get a very nice No3 Mk1 and a K11. Not what I went there for but they are both on the list for the collection and the prices were right

Picked up a NOS early Amisport 1861 Springfield repop to go along with my Ami P53 Enfield for about a quarter of the cost of an original. Oddly enough it was the only thing I really went looking for.

Absolutely love walking the show but man does it get a bit ripe in the hall with all the humanity and minimal ventilation. Would love to see them widen the aisles a bit for less congestion when folks want to visit.

Did anyone see any Springfield Trapdoor parts for sale?

In the hall all the way to the left is a guy that has lots of parts. I thought they looked like Civil War era parts, but they MAY have trapdoor parts, I did not look closely. He had more parts than I thought a springfield 1861 or 63 would have sooo..

I was not looking all that hard for original Enfields but I sure did not see very many. Only 2 I saw were outrageous.
