I don't think there are any B1's in the area but for comparison:
Tough to get all the sound from a computer but I reckon if you hooked it up to stereo speakers it would get closet to real life.
To my knowledge I've never heard a F-35. I have heard a B-1 and that's the closest thing to my knowledge that the noise seems to be.
Accordingly, my money is on F-35.
To have a boiler large enough to make that noise for a steam blow off it would have to be humongous and the folks doing the blow off shaken to jelly. There is nothing in the AO that has anything like that.
I may have picked some crappy vids but there are more out there.
Then again, it may be Jeff G. wailing about trying to escape MDS!
I put it through headphones. The B-1 is very close.
The tone is just right, but there's no Doppler effect I can detect in my mystery sound & again it doesn't build up but opens suddenly at full chat.
All fun though. I'm hoping for a nice clear day next time as I might see something then. Both times I've hear it have been 8/8 solid cover at low altitude & if something's transiting the same corridor as the flight of A 10's it would be above it.
