sooooo... In preparation for my permit renewal class I went into my account on the Licensing division portal to update my information. I did everything except the training cert which is schedule for next month. I was expecting to update info on my references but that is no longer on the form. Has that requirement been deleted? They still have the spouse contact information requirement but no references. Hope I'm not missing something.

After Bruen, MSP stopped checking references to comply with SCOTUS. Checking references was viewed as too subjective.

Now they have finally updated the form

Work history is still there as is Spouse contact and work supervisor. Although none of these refeences were ever contacted in my original permit 2 years ago.

just as a reminder, when you renew your MD, you also have to notify PA should you have their non-res.

Starting the renewal process I was shocked to see the amount of data they filled it. Then suprised when I had to reenter my 214 and fingerprints weren’t required. Assume they would have retained the copy of the 214.

I think York wants you to upload a new scan/pic of the updated permit. I would have to go back and look. MD expires in 2025 (I won the BD lottery) and PA in 2027

Your HGP application has been reviewed and the status changed to "Application Accepted." Your application is now awaiting assignment to a background investigator based on the order in which it was received. It is not necessary to contact the HGP section for a "status check" as you will be contacted directly should additional information be required.

If they don’t store the fingerprint receipts, wonder why they aren’t required for renewal..
