      Montgomery County Gun Buyback: Interfaith GVP Network Aims to Hit $30,000 Goal by April 20

      Within Maryland, all handgun transfers (including C&R handguns) must go through FFL or MSP. If a C&R licensee purchases from out-of-state, it comes direct to their door. CMP purchases are like out-of-state C&R purchases, direct to your door (no C&R license needed).

      New Mossberg 88 SP shotgun $220

      Good shotgun at a great price! I have the Security model (5+1) w/18.5" barrel. I did put a Hogue 12" LOP buttstock on it (I prefer short stocks for tactical firearms). I too remember getting it at a really low price.

      Old thread. Just an interesting note. When my son was on a weekend leave from Ft. Bragg (years ago) I took him and a buddy to my pistol club to shoot steel. One of the pistols we shot was a Beretta 92 FS. Both remarked how easy the mag release operated compared to the ones they were issued...

      Ruger customer service

      Ruger customer service has been outstanding! I lost a small part, my fault, on an LCP pistol and they replaced it for free. Most recently, the cheek pad tab on my LC Carbine broke off. Again, they replaced it for free. I guess this is one more reason I am such a dedicated Ruger fan.

      AR Pistol Concealed Carry

      Question. I have a valid Maryland handgun permit. Usually when driving I have a handgun on my person, but sometimes for comfort I will place it in the center console. I believe this is legal. If so, my question is can I legally have a loaded AR15 pistol in my vehicle?

      At 9 1/2 lbs. with a gas operated action, M1's are quite mild in the recoil department for a 30-06. I have owned several over the years. Currently have two. Many don't seem to know that Jean Cantius Garand (aka: John C. Garand) was a French Canadian.

      They were very clear here. He means .220, not .223. If it ever happens, initial response will likely be a barrel change to one of the .20 cal rounds (e.g., 20 Practical - necked down 5.56).

      Most of these post go to physical security - which is great. However, many "home invasions" occur when the perpetrators are allowed to enter or force their way through an open/unlocked door. Part of the plan should be to never voluntarily allow anyone you don't know or didn't request to enter...

      Most "buckets" are junk. Loaded with carbs and sugars to reach calorie counts. Way too low in protein! Average adult male needs about 75-100 grams/day. Mountain House is good stuff (but high salt).

      I have built several rifles/pistols from PSA kits/parts. Zero problems! Make sure you get the mil spec stuff. They offer a lower line.
