Ok people, its been a while since ive been on here. My son is turning 18 very soon and wants to purchase a Mosin Nagant on his 18th birthday. I've scoured the web, this site and anywhere I can that says its on the regulated list...but cant find it. I myself believe its on the regulated list...
I made my wife an AR with a polymer lower, and it operates just fine. Here are some off the cuff reasons to buy a polymer lower....
1. The price is lower compared to an ali lower.
2. For weight reasons. If you are trying to build a light weight rifle this can save on some weight.

I want to transfer it to his name so he knows the responsiblity of owning a firearm. And also because I own two security clearances and want to do things correctly.
Hello,
My son is turning 18 next month and im trying to figure out if I can transfer my shotgun to him when he turns 18. Ive googled it and came up with answers from 18 or 21 years of age. Just thought I would tap into the great wisdom of this forum. So whats the minimum age to own a shotgun?
This is a interesting read. I had a gut feeling that something else had to be happening in the background. Lets hope Ares wasnt hosting build parties. Even I the "novice" builder knows not to build firearms for other people......
I agee with you 100%, either there is more to the story (something like Ares completed a rifle and sold it, which would be stupid if you dont have a FFL) or California and the Government got togehter and targeted Ares becuase of the entire "ghost gun" nonsense. I do agree its a big cluster!
