      Golfing in West Virginia

      7.62 x 51 Golfing in West Virginia My son and I played a little golf this weekend. Federal Gold Match 175 grain at 200 yards. Used the Remington 700 SS 5R I picked up an Dan's a while back. Shoots everything I used so far at under a 1/2 moa.

      Christmas present

      I must have done something right this year. My wife got me an extra nice present this year. A Winchester model 75 made in 1939. Took it out Saturday to sight it in. Too cold to stay long but it is a tackdriver. 6 shots at 50 yards

      I shot in a high power match this weekend and had a dud primer. I just bought a brick of 1000 primers last month. They were CCI 400 small rifle.       High Power Surprise

      Nice surprise when I got home this evening. I received my NRA Master classification card for High Power rifle in the mail today. I knew I was getting close but didn't think I'd made it yet. Thanks to Vince for selling me an excellent shooting RRA NM2. It eats up anything you put through it.

      Went to my first High Power shoot of the year. Didn't do too bad ended up with a 721-6x even though I blew the sitting rapid stage. Weather held off too, only misted all morning. Can't wait til next month.
