      I need powder!

Can't seem to find any around here. Even checked at Bass Pro off Hwy 100. Nothing. Yea, Gander Mountain in Chambersburg had some but I aint paying $29 for a pound of W231! I was paying $16lb in Arizona. Anyone know where I can find some around the Hagerstown/Frederick/Hancock corridor?

      New gun from gunbroker.com?

I purchased a NIB Springer XD-45 service model for $475 last year when I lived in Arizona. Great gun and rides great in my Desanti's IWB holster. At least it did when I lived in a state that allowed CCW with a license.

      1911

I picked up a Kimber Pro Carry II back in 02 and love it. It will never leave my arsenal. Very accurate, lightweight and a gem to carry. Only issue I've ever had with it was the factory Kimber mag (in the picture). Wouldn't feed well even with a new spring. Went to Wilson Combat 47D mags...

      Show me your bows

I don't have a picture but I'm shooting an older PSE G Force left hand bow set at 60lbs. Purchased it used for $100 when I lived in Tucson, Arizona. Took the bow straight to PSE (right down the road from my house) and had them recondition it. Bow came back like new. I shoot Gold Tip XT...

Nosler 30 Cal, 180gr Solid Base....

I've used 180gr Nosler Partitions with good sucess in my -06. I put down a 600lb elk cow in Oct with that bullet over 56.3gr of IMR 4350, Winchester LR primers and Winchester brass. She was 40 yds away and took 2 steps before she fell over. Thru and thru wound channel with about a quarter...

Whats a hunt club asking now adays price wise?

Preferrably out in the Washington County area. I went to Indian Springs on the last 2 day rifle hunt and I swear there were more hunters there than people in Clear Spring. Ughh. Anyway, while driving around I seen plenty of hunting club signs. Even seen a club that had a range out to...

      Handloading for the AR-15

I use H-335 under 55gr FMJ in LC brass with CCI Small Rifle mag primers for range loads. Also use a Lee turret with an Auto Disc set up and a powder thru die for them reloads. The H-335 meters very well thru that set up and I can put out a good quantity of rounds in an hours time. Have...

      Pursuit of MD CCW

(ii) has good and substantial reason to wear, carry, or transport a handgun, such as a finding that the permit is necessary as a reasonable precaution against apprehended danger]. I'd think that leaves everything open to interpretation just like before. If the Secretary believes that...

      Where to shoot

That's the feeling I'm getting. I'm used to the desert open ranges as well as the controlled ranges they had. We used to go to the local range that had gongs out to 1000yds, silhouettes for .22, 25 lanes for both rifle and handgun, 3 gun ranges ect. All for $6 for day use or $40 per year...

      Where to shoot

I went by the North American Rod and Gun club and wasn't impressed with the range. Nothing like the ranges we had in Arizona. At least they did have other activities that made up for it though. I'm still on the fence for dropping $160 to join the club.

      Christmas came early!

I need to send in an address update for my C&R license since I recently moved to MD. You can purchase Curio and Relic classified long guns and handguns as a collector and have them delivered to your doorstep. That is, unless Maryland has a law against that as well. Also for you C&R...

How to buy a handgun in Maryland

DD214 is in hand. Keystone sells long guns and does a $20 ffl transfer for long guns from out of state but doesn't handle handguns. Checked on that just in case I purchase over the internet. Also, I have about 25 guns holed up at my brothers house in WVA. Any reason why I can't bring...
