By my math each investigator needs to do 27 forms per day to process 105k in a year. I was under the impression the process went something like this - send the fingerprints out, wait for them to come back clean, proofread forms, approve/disapprove. It doesnt sound like alot, certainly not enough...- LAD3DER

rumor: ATF to do away with CLEO sign off on form 4..
While this would be nice I would worry about the increase in requests bogging down the ATF process more than it already is. Hopefully they would use common sense and hire more examiners, though that would be a surprise.- LAD3DER

I disagree with this. When they want to hire people with prior certs they do that and have a shorter recruit class. 100 years, bout time i get one. 1911
Bought a used Rock Island for around $400 a month ago, no issues with it at all, very pleased. I did a bit of research before purchasing and they appear to be very solid guns, main thing that people trash them for is that they are not made in the United States. I can live with that for the price.
