Need some help with CZ 82

Norm Suttons springs are fine. You can install it in the CZ82 w/o having to drill anything like you would if you got the CZ83 spring from CZ. Granted, it's not the easiest thing to install... You pretty much have to do it blind as you can't possibly look at what your doing and access the...

      Bound Book Templates Revisited

Eruby, and those that chimed in that they use the same form.... This is just FYI, but that form you are using is exactly the one toolness1 mentioned finding in a thread. That thread was a long time ago before many of the new posters we have now. It was Bigtdc's thread and he was the one...

      new Laserlyte Trainer system

I bought this for my Son for Christmas. He's a Marine and I thought it might be a help to him between pistol qual's. I picked up the blue pistol with barrel insert and a pair of reaction time targets. The batteries that came in the package for the barrel insert barely worked for like 3-4...

Sistema Colt Overhaul/Rust Blue Tutorial....Picture Heavy

Thanks for taking the time to write this up. Your process mirrors my thought pattern of what I needed, but I had never seen anyone do it. This gives me more courage. I'm about to embark on a similar project.

Anyone know a source for a firing pin for a HSc?

As the title says... Looking for a firing pin for a HSc Mauser (WWII era, 1940s production - not the 1960s version...). Checked the usual sources and tried my Google fu but not much turning up so far.

Value on a .22 Enfield Trainer?

Thanks for the reply. I am probably going to pass. Your comments mirror my assumptions. He's looking for $350, but I figure for that price, I could buy an original for less by the time I restore that one. It's a shame, the metal really does appear to be in nice condition. It has the NZ...

Value on a .22 Enfield Trainer?

So I'm looking at a SHT 22 IV, BSA manufacture. Looks to be all original metal, but it's sitting in an aftermarket Monte Carlo poly stock. All original wood is gone. I've got a DP rifle with good wood.... I'm thinking of using the wood from the DP to restore the .22, but of course, it's...

Cheney, is the mei (kanji) on you family sword complete? Or cut? Have you tried posting pics on the nihonto forum? Those guys know their stuff and may be able to help you identify the sig. For those that may be interested in getting into collecting and don't know how these are made...

      SKS issue involving gas tube

I didn't see this thread the first time around, but I'm pretty certain I have a spare op rod laying around.... Buymilsurp sent me one in place of a different part I ordered, but by the time I opened the package, months had gone by so I didn't try to return it. If someone needs one, PM me and...

      Something Different - Cavalry Sabers

I also have an 1860 Cavalry Saber. My Dad picked it up in an antique shop about 30 years ago and it is in really great condition, excellent patina, wire wrapping intact... Unfortunately, I don't have a pic at the moment. I do however have another sword, just a little older... I guess...

      More Yugo SKS problems

Maybe the pin wasn't put in correctly when you replaced the retainer? There's a bump on the pin that the retainer actually catches and it's possible to put the bolt together with the firing pin rotated wrong. That will cause more movement in the pin then normal. That would be my first...

Still not clear on C&R Sales in MD

Yes, a bill of sale, and as others said, you do need to get their drivers license number if they don't have a C&R to log in your bound book. This sometimes turns off some non-C&R buyers FTF who don't understand why you need to record their DL#

      Anybody order from J&G recently?

Just had a conversation with a guy under the impression that since SB281, MD law says all C&R purchased handguns must be shipped to a MD 01FFL for transfer. Finally figured out that he believes this because he wanted to order a handgun from J&G and they told him that was the law

      SMLE Parts sources?

Thanks again to everyone for your input. Springfield Sporters is a new source for me and it looks like they may have what I need. I'll be tryign to call and/or faxing an order over to them today.

      Yugo SKS

I've got a few Yugos. All decent shooters. I also purchased one from a dealer once who, after receiving my funds and C&R called me to say he made a mistake the Yugo isnt C&R and what FFL did I want to ship to? We had a bit of an argument over that. Funny thing was he insisted Chinese was...
